New Client Safety & Live-Fire Courses
Two female instructors will lead a small group of women through this supportive and empowering 3-hour course. Students will learn safe firearm ownership practices and essential shooting fundamentals.
Participants are welcome to bring their own handguns or use our training firearms. All shooting is conducted individually to ensure safety and personalized instruction.
To reserve a seat, students must submit completed paperwork in order to receive an invoice. Enrollment is confirmed once both paperwork and payment have been received.
The course cost is $175 per person. Range fees of approximately $15 are paid directly to the range on the day of class.
Monthly Shooting Club
Women who complete our 3-hour Safety & Live-Fire Course are eligible to join our “Styx Chicks” Shooting Club. We meet once a month for a 2-hour session focused on reinforcing core fundamentals and continuing to build shooting skills in a supportive, encouraging environment. These gatherings also provide an opportunity to train together and build strong relationships within our community of clients.
Cost:
- $35 per drop-in session
- $25 per session for members
Membership cards are $300 and include 12 sessions valid for two years. Range fees are not included. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
Firearm Safety For Kiddos
A satisfied parent shared that this course “is as important as swim lessons.” This 60–90 minute firearm safety course is designed for young children and is attended by parent(s) alongside their child or children to encourage ongoing conversation and reinforcement at home.
Children learn what to do if they ever encounter a firearm through age-appropriate instruction that includes a fun song, simple movement activities, and coloring pages to help reinforce key safety concepts. Each participant receives a certificate upon completion of the course. Cost: $25 per person
This course is offered by request and is taught in the comfort of a familiar home, church, or community center.
