New Client Safety & Live-Fire Courses
Two female instructors will lead a small group of women through this encouraging and empowering three-hour course. Students will learn safe ownership practices and important firearm fundamentals. Bring the handguns you own or shoot our guns. Everyone shoots individually. Students must submit completed paperwork to obtain an invoice. Class seats are confirmed upon receipt of completed paperwork and a paid invoice. Cost is $175 per person. Range fees of approximately $15 are paid directly to the range on the day of your class.
Monthly Shooting Club
Women who attend our 3-hour Safety & Live-Fire class are eligible to join our "Styx Chicks" shooting club. Once a month, we meet for 2 hours to reinforce fundamentals and build on our skills. Our clients enjoy the opportunity to practice with us while building encouraging relationships. Cost is $35 per person for drop ins and $25 per person for members. (Membership cards are $300 and good for any 12 sessions within a 2 year period.) Range fee not included. Space is limited. Advance registration is required.
Firearm Safety For Kiddos
A satisfied mom told us that this course "is as important as swim lessons." Parent(s) attend this 60-90 minute course with their child/children so as to encourage ongoing conversations. The kiddos learn what to do if/when they encounter a firearm. They sing a fun song, learn a dance and color cartoon pages to reinforce the lesson. Participants receive a certificate at the conclusion of the course. Cost is $25 per person. (This course is built on demand and taught in the comfort of a familiar home, church or community center.)
