The 5 Cardinal Rules of Firearm Safety
- 1. Always treat all firearms as if they are loaded at all times.
- 2. Never point a firearm at something you are not willing to destroy.
- 3. Keep your pistol unloaded until you are ready to use it.
- 4. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
- 5. Always be sure of your target and what is in front and beyond it.
Class Options
We offer a wide variety of classes for both beginners and returning customers! Contact us to build a private group shoot. We love teaching mother/daughter sessions, hosting birthday parties and working with corporate groups. Melissa is an excellent coach!! I recommend this class to anyone who owns their own or even has a pistol in their home. Her expert advice is invaluable for yourself as well as teaching your children about gun safety. Being taught by a woman allowed some personalization that I would have never known. I learned so much the morning I spent with her. I became more confident handling my own pistol as well as learned some universal techniques that could be used with larger handguns I’ve struggled with handling. I learned how to use my pistol with different grips, stances, and in different scenarios. Overall I left feeling inspired, excited and ready to practice all the new things I learned. I highly recommend Melissa, She’s A Pistol, LLC training to any woman. Melissa was wonderful as a lead in my one-on-one training with my gun. We spent time getting to know each other, gun safety, how to handle oneself in different difficult situations and target practice. I got a lot out of my 2 hours with Melissa, but I think the most important thing I got is this: you are only as empowered with the gun as you are knowledgeable of the gun and how to properly use it.
